Dove is an abstract exploration of form that reflects the universal desire for freedom through the symbolic presence of the dove. Created as part of the 5th International North Aegean Gömeç Stone Sculpture Symposium, the work expresses this idea through a refined and simplified formal language. Throughout history, the dove has represented peace, hope, and freedom, serving as a timeless emblem of humanity’s aspiration to live without restraint. As a whole, the sculpture evokes the emotional and spiritual experience of looking beyond boundaries.

Rather than depicting the dove as a literal figure, Dove symbolizes the inner longing for liberation and possibility. Inspired by the endless sky, the work invites the viewer to contemplate freedom not only as a physical state, but also as a state of mind that encourages hope, openness, and transcendence. Its restrained and minimalist form emphasizes that profound meanings can emerge through simplicity.
